Clinical traineeship

You will have the opportunity to come into contact with various practical dental activities at an early stage. As a supplement to the clinical courses, you will therefore take part in a 4-week clinical traineeship (during the lecture-free period).
Due to the experience you gain with patients during the clinical study section (Z3), we strongly recommend that you only complete a clinical traineeship after passing the Z2 examination.
The successfully completed clinical traineeship must be proven when applying for admission to the third section of the dental examination.

You may split the four weeks into two weeks each. You must spend at least two weeks looking over the shoulder of a general dentist, and a further two weeks can be spent with a specialist dentist.
Clinical traineeships can only be credited if we have made an agreement with the respective dentists in advance. Below you will find our contract dentists divided by region.
